13 Jul 2023 - Another busy night in pursuit of a trespassing meep!  By my counting, it is the third one I've had to roust (or perhaps the same one three times?)... a scant sampling of what lies beyond the domicile walls.  My job doesn't concern that hoard, but rather insuring that they remain "out there".  So when a scout enters my  domain, it has crossed the line.  Because they are so much smaller than I, the pursuit must negotiate under cabinets and behind doors.  If my long forearm can't stretch the distance, then I play the waiting game, maybe catching a bit of shut-eye as I hunker nearby, confident it will eventually emerge.
