4 Jul 2023 - These past few days (weeks?) have truly tamped down (damped down?) interloper activity.  So I am stockpiling naps for a future dearth, for a time when Mr. Sol is generous with his time and the ne'er-do-wells are celebrating the favorable weather and my dance card is full.  During those intermittent moments when I am able to enjoy my personal deck, I would swear that the lake is creeping up the shoreline.  Must I add it it to the list of things threatening our hinterland domicile?  And how exactly does one deal with its rising level?
