5 Jul 2023 - Finally some quality deck time!  The interlopers and I were overjoyed when Mr. Sol appeared yesterday.  I simply had to roll around in his sunshine, despite rising with a dusting of yellow pollen.  After days of being grounded, unable to visit the repository of sunflower seeds, the cheeps, squeeps,  and beeps all paid visits to the nearby feeder... which kept things interesting for me.  I continue to sense the lake's encroachment, but at this elevation I probably can dismiss my worry.  Besides, I am quite busy guarding our perimeter.
