7 Jul 2023 - Rather than fret while waiting for the shorter peep to open the door to my personal deck, I put my time to productive use:  bathing by sharp morning light.  If this is a new experience for you, it might favorably compare to heated tile floors and warmed towels.  Once the door is opened, I will be busy gathering intel on the neighborhood interlopers, with little time for personal grooming.  There is, I admit, some element of presenting a tidy appearance for my job, but mostly it is an instance of now or who knows when.
