Me-usings and Me-emories
15 Jul 2023 - The shorter peep fancies herself a sleuth, but even so I heard her, maybe sensed her would be more accurate, despite the interference of two outer portals... and that feat accomplished while I was napping in Mr. Sol's warmth. Obviously my kind's hearing is superior to hers (and hers far better than the taller peep's), but a long history of snagging our dinner (and not being snagged for something else's repast) has, through natural selection, resulted in top-notch senses that continue to serve me well... even though my kibble is kindly provided without any effort on my part.
