11 Apr 2024 - This 2-D version of a cat (I'm taking the shorter peep's word on this) sets off none of my alarms:  it doesn't smell like a cat, and I don't think it looks like one either.  I suppose if the local interlopers invaded our domicile as shadows, we would have to concede to defeat.  After all, how does one deal with something that is unaffected by harsh glares and a swatting with claws extended?  It is the making of a feline horror story, a scenario that could keep me awake... if I were to buy into the premise.  But my eyes just see a color variation on the wall:  nothing to get excited about.
