Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

16 Oct 2024 - With all this abnormal, unplanned stuff happening in our lives of late, I find it comforting to remind myself of the things that haven't changed.  For example we returned from the hinterland and waiting for me were my silly toys.  Already I have taken the favorite one for a purrambulation of the domicile.  Although I drop it far from its home base, it always manages to find its way back to the collective.  My rational brain suspects the assistance of the shorter peep, but the rest of my gray matter admits the unexplained.

  1. It can be quite exciting to "re-find" an old friend. Yesterday I found my bed in disarray, and in the middle was a feathered toy that I hadn't seen for quite some time. Archy tries to claim innocence, but I know better

  2. what happened to "innocent until proven guilty"?

  3. if you are already naughty every single day, then "proven guilty" isn't really necessary :)
