Me-usings and Me-emories
23 Oct 2024 - Curiosity is an asset in my line of work. It is the need to know that causes me to stick my head in dark corners, follow odd smells, and notice differences. And the only way to detect change is to be so familiar with my surroundings that an out-of-place item or, even more intriguing, new thing is glaringly obvious. The main reason I diligently make my rounds is to keep tabs on the interlopers, but a secondary result is that the ins and outs of our domicile are etched into my gray matter... please leave that chair right where it is.
Today's Catechism
(for the autodidcat)
"Haven't I seen you before?" is the
brain trying to figure it out.

phrase of the day - purrlsy-wurrlsy, on fur-miliar terms with
Catty Corner
isn't it kind of exciting to occasionally find a piece of furniture or other item in a new place?
