31 Oct 2024 - When the wind is whipping the tree tops and rain is pounding the roof, my sanctuary can be scary, certainly over-stimulating.  But to look upon the surrounding woods now is to sigh contentedly... my life is good!  It is true that there are strange peeps occasionally tromping through our house, and that my access to most of my personal screened porch is still restricted, yet there are more pluses to count than minuses.  And when I'm feeling a bit harrumph, I remind myself of these many positives.
