6 Oct 2024 - My duties in our southerly domicile are more demanding than those in the hinterland:  more area to patrol and steps everywhere.  I am not a jumper but if another multi-part route exists to the lofty goal, then I am not averse to heights.  In fact the shorter peep found me snoozing on this ledge earlier today.  The view from this angle is unrivaled, permitting surveillance of the major interior traffic areas as well as the front approach to our house.  Interlopers are early risers and so must I be, although the drippy weather is dampening their activities.
