Me-usings and Me-emories

6 October 2014 - The last few days have been tinged by fall, although a panoramic gaze across the back yard doesn't discern any turning leaves.  But we Florida folks know better than to expect a show of color until much later (perhaps February?) and even then the change is quite subtle.  But all of life doesn't need to be dramatic or seismic to be worthwhile.  It is my opinion that quiet observation is an asset to be cultivated, one that easily counterbalances the required effort, especially in this wired age, to sit still and investigate one's surroundings.
