15 October 2014 - My nerves are shot. Today is the third day of realizing a concrete sidewalk, and I had not bargained for so much noise and disruption of my life. Closing my eyes only heightens the assault upon my ears, so my one recourse is to endure. I have tried to choose a spot that will cocoon me, and here I wait it out. Surely it can't be much longer....
