head'em off at the pass

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

30 October 2014 - Somehow I missed National Cat Day?  Well, I have been a tad busy.  If playing horseshoes, close is perfectly acceptable, even the winning throw in some just-for-fun competitions, so I won't sweat the possibility of losing my membership card.  We cats after all possess minds of our own....  This shot to the right was taken a while ago, so I am having to scratch my head to remember what I found fascinating about the shower wall.  Am I seeing cartoon characters in the storm cloud shapes?  Maybe I am leaning in to rule out the presence of black smoke roiling up from below the tiled floor?  But I would posit that my animal brain is experiencing thoughts, even if I won't or can't share them.  Peeps, egotists that they are, "think" that they are the only creatures with the ability to draw conclusions, process motives.  If indeed they were as sentient as they claim, why are they so irrational and oblivious?  I have my thoughts on that puzzler, but I will just sit here and purr.
