17 October 2014 - Although I have numerous spots that I alternate among, this one at the foot of the bed is a favorite.  The elevated view and its proximity to places that the shorter peep frequents figure into its appeal.  Not that I must keep an eye on her, but every pass by my post usually includes a head pat or a chin chuck.  Naturally I like the attention, and there are pluses for her as well:  a reordering of priorities, a lessening of anxiety, a pause from busy-ness.  Possibly this is what is meant by a symbiotic relationship, or we could just use the less rarified word, friendship.
