2 October 2014 - No, I am not dozing.  Nor is my averted glance due to avoidance of eye contact.  I am, I admit, shy, but my reserve seems to be more problematic for others than for me.  It is commented on frequently, with such statements as "don't be silly" or "there's nothing to be afraid of" or "I'm not going to hurt you"...as if any of these are magical cures.  Shyness is who I am, and the moment for fixing that is long past.  However, for the record, I actually am studying that legged oval on the floor.  Have I made first-contact?
