down in front

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

24 October 2014 - I try to participate in family time, even when it involves sitting for long stretches in front of this screen.  I can't understand the peeps' fascination with this piece of equipment, but then I am not a peep.  I have found that sleep comes easily when I am stretched out before the frenetic image.  Rather than pumping me with excitement the colorful pandemonium lulls me into a restful trance.  In more lucid moments I have observed that this is not the effect being produced on the peeps...instead they seem animated and engaged with the display.  As I said, it totally escapes me.  But that is alright as my being present is all about solidarity:  I don't mind hanging out with them....maybe I will catch a glimpse of the MGM lion.
