22 March 2015 - Curiosity without an equal dose of caution shortens one's life.  I am aware of, although take umbrage at, the phrase "scaredy cat".  Usually that type of statement is intended to goad someone into doing something, at best, inane, at worst, unwise.  But we cats keep our own counsel and watch our own back.  So don't try to hurry me along:  I have a pace with which I am comfortable and reasons that don't translate well across species.
