11 March 2015 - No need to assign someone to the complaint department:  when life is lovely, whining falls off to the level of background hum, and can be dismissed as cicadas.  But good writing, meaning "interesting" writing, depends upon tension, so how long are you willing to hang around while I purr on about low humidity, shed-that-fur temperatures, robin's-egg skies, cotton-candy clouds...see, you are already feeling the onset of a yawn, the niggling of an itch to change the channel.  It is precisely why newspapers are filled with blood and horror: tragedy and misery sell.
