15 March 2015 - I don't label it a "wild hare" but sometimes I feel the urge to scamper up trees, run full-tilt, unsheathe my talons. I try not to over-think it, just enjoy the feral moment and then continue with my more sedate life. Every cat, whether of the indoor or outdoor variety, needs a surface to scratch. If one is not at-paw, then we find something to satisfy the itch. You peeps should keep that in mind unless you want the crushed-velvet upholstery ripped to shreds.
