28 April 2016 - Post-adrenaline life can seem such a let-down, such a plod, that if one is not sufficiently reflective one can rush right into another high-risk activity, just to maintain the intensity of feeling.  We cats are by nature introspective:  that pause, so commented upon by my peeps, between query and response is in fact my weighing the pros and cons of my answer.  Leaping before one looks is known to be hazardous, and my mother did not give birth to a foolish offspring.  Snickers at my hesitancy will not hasten the process.  I walk about in a shades-of-gray world, but I am a black-and-white cat.
