Me-usings and Me-emories

21 January 2018 - Life, even for us tuxedos, isn't just black and white... although you can understand why I'm partial to that world view.  There are many things which I neither love nor hate; "meh" so perfectly describes this in-between stuff.  But the lukewarm parts of our lives serve a valuable function:  imagine an uninterrupted stretch of detestable events (how depressing to consider); now imagine day-in-day-out euphoria (how exhausting that would be).  The emotional center is a quiet place where thoughts can be examined, where things can get done, where sleep can be untroubled.  Finding a gray hair would be a bummer, but otherwise gray is okay.
