14 January 2018 - I have never ridden a roller-coaster, but during the past week I feel as if I have been on one.  Yet again, after a most desirable warming, we are experiencing wind, gray skies, and winter temperatures.  The beep at the window wants to come in... or at least I would, if I were on the other side of the glass.  Who can blame him?  I have ventured out, only when necessary, and then quickly hightailed it for the back door.  How much more of this up-and-down weather are we going to experience before things plateau into spring?  If only Nature was bound to the outcome of a vote....
