20 January 2018 - The typical peep guard walks the sidewalks, occasionally his gaze sweeping around him. Not me! I willingly go off-path, because I know that is where things hide, where things bide their time until it is safe to emerge. So I stir up the mix: often my very presence causes a camouflaged individual to bolt from its cover.... and I am there to hasten it off the premises. I am most fortunate to have a job that combines the comfort of a desk (particularly if the chair is cushioned) with the freedom of the outdoors (hooray for sunshine upon my back). Yes, ma'am, reporting for duty!
