5 January 2018 - It is true:  hot air does rise.  In our many-leveled house, we are most comfortable in the office this time of year.  Unfortunately there is no access to what would be the attic space...  all that warmth up there wasted.  Without climbing the barn ladder, I am, in this picture, situated on the highest (and therefore toastiest) spot around.  It is especially desirable to sit here in the morning, when the sun adds its radiant heat to the mix.   Even with the confluence of sunshine and a handy heat vent, I would trade it all for an August day in Florida.  For now I am just surviving.
