26 Aug 2023 - Perhaps some would be taken aback that I'm bathing on my personal deck, a quasi-public space viewable by interlopers and passing peeps.  But I won't curtail a natural cat activity, largely unconscious, just because of a few prim sorts.  And what could be more relaxing than enjoying a serene view while washing behind one's ears?  If I were sequestered for these ablutions, I wouldn't be able to keep an eye on the local ne'er-do-wells... the security of our domicile shouldn't suffer because of my need to be clean and tidy.
