Me-usings and Me-emories
7 Aug 2023 - The act of observing changes the outcome, so I prefer to remain in the background in order to gauge interloper activity. Should the squeep be aware of my gaze, it might sneakily keep its nose to the ground as if intent on locating last year's acorn. But I want to know what it is really up to. Typically being upwind and perfectly still is all that is needed to blend into the woodwork... except obviously I've been spotted by my peep. That isn't entirely a disaster... as long as they don't point me out to the ne'er-do-wells.
