2 May 2024 - I tried to convince the shorter peep to bury this photo... who wants to look silly?  But she convinced me that it was the epitome of cat cuteness, and I was swayed by her flattery.  Besides I really am not influenced by what others think.  Unless I know that a particular behavior will draw a  peep rebuke, I do what I want.  Of course I have a strong work ethic, so "what I want" will include regular patrols of our domicile, rousting the interlopers.  Yet there is ample time in the day for me to relax, stretch my limbs, wash my ears, etc... maintaining a healthy balance so I don't roll off my perch.
