6 May 2024 - The last few days I've been pacing my beat:  my two peeps, both of them, disappeared, and I had no idea where they'd taken themselves or, more importantly, when they'd find their way home.  Just moments ago they sauntered in, patted my head, put kibble in my bowl, and then proceeded about their routines as if "what's the big deal?"  Before you consider reporting my two to the authorities for neglect, my basic needs were met by a seen-before stranger who tries very hard to be my friend... but my vetting process takes months and months.
