Me-usings and Me-emories

15 May 2024 - Yep, that is me, or certainly one of my kind... the cat silhouette is unmistakable.  Skittish creatures such as myself tend to get anxious, and think the worst, when we are the center of attention.  "Why are you looking at me?" races through our heads, and fearful of the answer I skedaddle.  But the shorter peep has, over much time, desensitized me to being stared at (at least by her).  I don't know that was her intention, but after years of having a cube pointed in my direction, and suffering no ill effects from being the focal point I just ignore her, let her "do her thing"... we all have our peculiarities after all.
