8 May 2024 - So I chose a new spot:  it's not a big deal, although the shorter peep had to remark upon it (and notify the taller one).  I have said before that a predictable sentry is second-rate, which means that every now and then I am compelled to stir things up.  I doubt this location will supplant my favorite napping places as it could be more comfy, but it does offer protection with good visibility.  When gathering recon on those wily interlopers, these attributes are worthwhile.
