Me-usings and Me-emories
18 May 2024 - Although I often sprawl on this particular comfy spot, I can't relax until I've identified the culprit that pricked up my ears. If our domicile was located in the middle of a pasture or was surrounded by water, then surveillance would be much easier. Instead I must peer into the bushes, watch for a jiggled branch, to pinpoint the trespasser. The really clever ones will alternate between movement and stillness, so that surveillance becomes a battle of my vigilance versus its patience. But obviously I know the extent of an interloper's sneakiness, and the job gets done.

It’s good to be vigilant and determine the potential danger. Archy and Hitty demolished a potted dill plant that someone gave their peep…guess it looked suspicious
