27 May 2024 - My peeps find it quite amusing that I try to bury my food bowl.  However, if I am unable to eat all of the offering, I certainly don't want the interlopers to find it... I can just imagine their glee.  Granted the habit works best outdoors, where there are leaves or grass that can be swept over it.  Inside my efforts are largely symbolic, but a habit isn't weighed, or motivated, by logic  So I go through the motions, satisfying that nag of an inner voice, and later revisit the bowl to see if the magic worked.
