at ease

Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

23 Feb 2024 - I am finally able to reclaim the shorter peep's lap.  Whereas I had been shunted to one side or farther up or farther down, I now can plop where I choose... happiness eludes a thwarted cat.  The particulars of why are still unclear to me, but I am pleased that life in our abode is returning to the same-old-same-old, a state that warms my heart.  And although we are enjoying a good deal of Mr. Sol's benevolence, I am still having to seek heat supplements... of which laps are a good (and friendly) source.

  1. yay! I'm glad to hear of the return to normalcy. Archy has been perturbed that I've been spending unusual amounts of time at the dining room table working instead of being on the sofa where I'm supposed to be ready to receive his affections on my lap

  2. That's great news to hear. There's nothing better than a return to regular routines. I hope the purr vibrations keep helping with the healing.

  3. I am sure the shorter peep enjoys my being close by.
