5 Feb 2024 - You are first in line for taking care of yourself.  It may be more ego-boosting (not that we cats need extra) to have someone else fetching and smoothing the way, but no one really knows what you need better than you.  I don't just dispense advice, I live by it, so if my body needs a rest, I schedule a bit of lie-down time between my work rounds.  The puritans among us will tsk-tsk this perceived pampering, however Bastet doesn't require (or recommend) an ascetic life.
