11 Feb 2024 - As you might guess, the shorter peep's lap is more desirable than any cushion or pillow in the domicile. Who could want more than a heated seat with head pats? But lately, since her smell changed, I am encountering all sorts of lap obstacles. Where I would most choose to be is now blocked. It is an aggravating development. Evidently higher or lower on her torso is permitted, or off to one side. I could get huffy and refuse to play by the new rules, but she seems to like me nearby... and so I have adapted.
