9 Feb 2024 - Clearly something is up with the shorter peep. She is walking behind this strange contraption, and even her smell is different... her but different. So I'm keeping a sharp eye on her, along with the pesky interlopers. They, like me, have noticed the uptick in temperatures, and are more active, more rambunctious. I am not certain what I can do, should she need me (I am not Lassie after all) but perhaps the very act of watching her will mean she is more careful. There is something to positive thinking.

It can be very discombobulating to have ones peep smell or sound funny…..hopefully the shorter one will start smelling like herself soon! Hitty and Archy have also noticed the uptick in the feathery ilk… I even wonder if that might have something to do with how Archy ended up “swimming” in my pool…it’s his third time so I’m beginning to wonder about his impulse control
