Me-usings and Me-emories
6 Feb 2024 - There was a time when silhouette drawings were popular, something easily done with paper, pencil, a bright light, and a willing subject. According to the shorter peep, one was made of her when she was small... but it has long ago disappeared. Certainly one's facial features are more evident in profile, as contrasted with a face-to-face presentation. The angle of the nose, the prominence of the brow and chin (or not), all combine to form the initial impression and to allow future recognition. And now we are told that a squashed-in face is associated with a shorter life span. (I knew there was a reason I don't care for persians.)

Catty Corner
word of the day - purrtrayal, a cat's distinct representation (yep, that's me)
Catty Corner
you are quite striking in profile, especially with your tail curled! the whole thing keeps you from looking like you could ever be the least bit naughty
ReplyDeletethanks for the compliment... we cats are a handsome breed.
