Me-usings and Me-emories
21 Feb 2024 - We all do things occasionally that are not in our best interests. Some happen without our thinking about it, a reflex action perhaps... such as in the photograph to the right. I would have remained perfectly unnoticed, but as the shorter peep walked past I couldn't help raising my head to confirm my suspicions. My cover was blown! The stakes were low, and I was able to continue my nap... but I was a tad aggravated with myself making that unconsidered act. It is hard to buck one's instincts.

Hitty is very good at staying hidden during naps (up high, in a cat bed)...sometimes all I can see are the tips of her ears, other times if I call, she will raise her head a bit. Peeps do feel happy when they know where their furry friends are, so don't feel bad about blowing your cover.
