14 Feb 2024 - Yesterday was a snag in the picture, but I am becoming encouraged with the weather's improved trajectory. It is truly a good day when I can nap on my personal screened porch, soaking up Mr. Sol's benevolence. Lest I think life is perfect, yesterday the temperatures reversed course... not horribly so, but I elected to do all my snoozing inside... which is where the shorter peep is keeping herself, so all was not a loss. I am hoping that this turnaround is short-lived: I have noticed more color flanking our domicile, and the interlopers are energized... these are positive signs.

I'm afraid today and the rest of the week aren't going to be the best weather for outdoor activities (or non-activities = napping).....a bit of a cold snap has brought everyone in closer proximity to share body heat!
