15 Feb 2024 - If you're wondering, I am that black eared lump in the photo's center.  The shorter peep's lap is currently a challenge to negotiate, half of it being off-limits (for some reason that hasn't been explained).  So if it looks as if my perch is precarious, it is.  But if anything, we cats are persistent and my nap proceeded along.  Just as Mr. Sol sometimes is less than this usual cheery self, I am hoping that the lap situation will work itself out and that very soon I'll be allowed full access... I think a return to normalcy is what the shorter peep wants too.
