7 August 2016 - At least the shorter peep didn't zoom in on my face to "document" the dried drool and eye crackles.  But to sleep in a warm pool of light more than compensates for all the photographic indignities.  What I hope is conveyed is the utter relaxation, the joy of being carefree.  True, I don't have a house mortgage to fret over, nor a monthly car payment hanging over my head.  I will never have to fund an offspring's education, nor worry about his/her successful entrée into the adult world.  There are trade-offs, not all positive, for this simple life, and conceding, for some, seems like failure.
