15 August 2016 - There is a big difference between guests and family. Yesterday afternoon a platoon of the former descended upon our household. Ultimately they took up residence on the deck, someone sitting in this very chair. Needless to recount, I took myself elsewhere. It isn't that I dislike peeps (I am quite fond of my two), but I dislike what they bring to the table: noise. Perhaps I could tolerate these intrusions if just one of the visitors brought me a bribe... I mean to say "treat". Anyway, in my experience, these strangers eventually go away. When silence descends, I know that it is safe to creep out.
