6 August 2016 - Yes, yesterday's "mood" has passed, and I am once again my staid self.  The quiet, reflective live really is me, if for no other reason then frenzied activity burns more calories... and I am all about conserving energy.  Supposedly our sun will outlive me, despite my nine lives, and at least here at the lake there is almost always a wind.  Plus just a few meters from our shore there is the river channel, and its constant push to the sea.  Even in the compost bin, small amounts of heat are being created by the decomposition of our food scraps.  So it really is unnecessary for me to be the gerbil in the wheel.  I am content to manage from the sidelines.
