17 August 2016 - Calvin the Explorer... it has a certain ring to it, don't you think?  Caution and curiosity are strange bedfellows, keeping me in "imminent threat" whenever I am sniffing about.  One benefit of my elevated heart rate is the ability to immediately shift into flight mode... which could make the difference between my getting out of there and my being trapped.  Following my nose has not gotten me into any serious scrapes (I am still here after all), and the things that I've seen!
