considering the circumstances

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

4 July 2017 - Some things change, some things don't, for example, the basic house configuration.  There are still obstacles between me and the outdoors, and I am still beholden to my peeps to lend a hand (with opposable thumb).  The first few days after our arrival, it was difficult to get their attention (and, honestly, they may have wondered why I wanted to saunter out in less-than-picture-postcard weather).  But a fella has to do what he has to do, and I really shouldn't grouse over the time spent chillin', considering everything that demanded their attention.  Today of all days it seems appropriate to say, "Let my freedom ring... and it would be much easier if you'd install a doorbell."  And for the record, we cats don't like fireworks either.
