25 July 2017 - We are having a foul day in the hinterland.  Complaints are duly placed in file 13, so the only constructive thing one can do is, ahem, weather it.  My preferred reaction is to curl up in a comfortable spot and conserve my heat.  Napping also makes the time pass more quickly, with the outside chance that when one opens his eyes the outdoor picture will have brightened.  The peepdits seem to think that things will improve by tomorrow, which will give me lots of uninterrupted beauty rest... not that I especially need it.
