the power of rabble

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

29 July 2017 - Our abode here in the hinterland doesn't have a doorbell, but undesirables seldom come to the front entry and await admission.  So my patrol checks the entire exterior periphery, taking the necessary time for my nose to register any change in scent from the last walkabout.  Not every odor has an identifiable source, but I file these unknowns away.  Enough occurrences without incident will allow me to put it in the folder labeled "harmless unknown".  Truly most of my work is of no consequence, some might say a bore.  However, no one in my line of work wishes for an exciting shift:  the hordes are smashing windows and tossing in Molotov cocktails... are we having fun yet?  To which I would say, "be careful what you ask for."
