9 July 2017 - Sprawling on the deck, watching the beeps visit the feeder, listening to the lake lap on the shore - I am not the only one in our household who enjoys being outside.  Weekdays of course are quieter here, but weather for the past two weekends has not inspired thoughts of heading to the water, whether fresh or salty.  I especially like ample sunshine and its residual heat, but much can be said in favor of high cloudiness that keeps people close to their homes.  An entire summer tucked away, just me and my peeps, would be ideal... but it ain't gonna happen.
