I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

3 July 2017 - As you can see, I am a survivor.  After two long days of travel, I am back at my lake.  Already I have reaffirmed my usefulness by dispatching a meep that dared to crash our party.  Regular patrols will hopefully signal to the woodland riffraff that I won't tolerate their presence in the yard or house.  Meanwhile I am enjoying life without that Florida interloper,... although surely there was an easier way to shake his tail than traveling almost to the 44th latitude.  Other differences I have noticed are cooler temperatures (not good) and the smell of grass... which is well above my head in the immediate vicinity.  The squeeps in these parts are definitely smaller, and IMO more annoying with their querulous barking.  The important thing is that my peeps and I are under the same roof.
