Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

20 July 2017 - Forgive my paraphrase, Longfellow:  "When it was good, it was very, very good; and when it was bad, it was horrid."  Of course, in the hinterland I could only be speaking of the weather.  And right now it is so nearly perfect, that moi cavorting in the sunshine seemed the ideal representation.  Lest hordes of overheated southerners rush the border, I should add that earlier this same morning one couldn't see the opposite side of the lake (i.e., it was quite foggy).  This unpredictability stresses the importance of savoring the moment:  if you are composing a symphony and the sun appears, hold onto the note and go outside; if you are updating the actuarial tables and the sun appears, save the work and go outside; if you are snoozing, rouse yourself and go outside.  In another day, or hour, the picture could change drastically.
